Father’s death, absolutely rich, stay friends with a Journalist Jeanie
Stanford, and take care of my assistant Mungo. Oh, and own two or three
mansions.

Usually con artists
claiming supernatural abilities, supernatural beings, and stupid humans
committing the most foul murders.
