3.      Katniss - Katniss Everdeen is the main character in the Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
4.      Bella - Swan Isabella Swan is the main character of the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyers.
5.    Mulan - “Hua Mulan is a legendary figure from ancient China who was originally described in a Chinese poem known as the Ballad of Mulan (木蘭辭).”  (quote from:
6.    Merida – Merida is a princess who’s also the main character in the Disney/Pixar animated film, BRAVE.

When I originally composed this list, I forgot to put Hermione Granger.
She is the lead female character in the Harry Pottery books.
I cannot leave her out as she is a fierce, intelligent, and kindly heroine whom I love very much.

The main character in my novel, FEARS OF DARKNESS
